In spite of such comments, a composed Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked ex Joshua's opponent Francis Ngannou and described him as "ridiculous" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, took aim at British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' says he will place on a victory for Paul.

"Jake Paul outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.

"I give him credit for that."

Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to speak negatively about his rival's boxing ability.

The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited Fury-Joshua bout, which is apparently under discussion for 2026.

"It will be my match with Fury next year," Paul declared.
